Watson emerged as the winner Mr. Nigeria International Top Model 2017. The prestigious Mr and Miss Nigeria International is under the platform of Brendance and Crusader owners of the pageant which has produced top class winners in the past six years.
The event which produced this outstanding young man took place in Lagos at Ruby Gardens in Lekki Peninsula on the 7th of October, 2017.
It took a lot of hard work, focus, as well as determination to succeed. He emerged the winner among 93 other contestants vying for other titles from different parts of the country and works of life. He was born in Enugu and grew up in Lagos. Before now, he has been a professional model and is still there, as well as an entrepreneur. He modelled for Morafa as well as a few others.
He further developed himself by obtaining proficiency courses at the prestigious LBS/Pan Atlantic University in Human/Customer Services Management.
In answering the question of where is he from, he simply answered in his humble way, that he is first and foremost a Nigerian. On our insistence he obliged us, he hails from Ikeduru-Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State.
The road to this victory according to the current Mr. Nigeria International Top Model was really tough, I had no backing, and it was a last minutes decision on my part to go into it not knowing what the outcome will be. It was sheer determination alongside those who rallied around me during the latter stage and God’s grace that saw me through into the final.
I was myself throughout the duration of the competition, these included my style, character, aura not self loathing though. This is my first major competition on any plate form since my carrier. I am happy I came out a winner.
As it is, he can represent Nigeria at the world stage at the Mr Universe 2018.
The project I intend to undertake is still being developed and when it’s done, it would be put in the open. I don’t want to spill the beans yet.
I give glory to God and as well as appreciate “Brendance and Crusader” who are the organizers of Mr and Miss Nigeria International pageant for giving me “The Voice” which is the theme for this year’s pageant and the opportunity to be able to give back to my society and the world at large. I won’t fail to mention my family, loved ones and acquaintances for their support in the journey so far.
